Job Description

We are seeking a Senior full stack JavaScript engineer with some heavy backend programming experience. Applicants must have some experience architecting and must provide a link to his/her code samples in GitHub that demonstrate their knowledge.

- Extensive experience working with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Extensive experience with Mongo, Express, Angular, Node JS and Bootstrap
- Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, AJAX, REST, and JSON
- Minimum 4 years experience in back end development
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience and/or interest in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile/XP methodologies
- Ability to dive into a codebase and contribute while learning
- General understanding of MVC, MVVM, and data binding
- Must have some experience working collaboratively with a team of developers

Desired skills:
- General understanding of both client & server side technologies
- Experience working with content management systems
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (LESS / SASS / Stylus)
- Experience with version control systems like Git or subversion

- Participates in analysis and design of user interfaces and provides solutions and alternatives
- Writing and maintaining tests for the codebase
- Collaborates with business, design, development, and quality assurance team members to implement best-in-class solutions
- Develops solutions according to specified design requirements
- Writes optimal and efficient code using best practices
- Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
- Keeps up to date in advancements in technologies and frameworks, and has zeal to learn
