SHOP Co-Op is a Retail company working diligently to democratize the retail supply chain to best enable brands to sell directly to the consumer.
SHOP Co-Op is searching for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to play a key role in SHOP Co-Op's launch. The ideal candidate is someone with marketing experience, an excellent writer, and strong media relations skills. The candidate must be able to work effectively across a wide range of subject matters, lead short-term and long-term projects, and comfortably and quickly adjust to changing priorities and situations.
-Design and execute short and long-term marketing/advertising and communications strategies for paid media campaigns, demand generation, SEO, and other projects as specified that engage with multiple audiences across a variety of mediums and channels.
-Develop effective, concise and compelling communications materials, including story ideas, blog and social media posts, press releases, and presentations.
-Leverage partnerships, sponsorships/sales, brand development/management of creative and operations, promotional planning, print and digital creative, media buying/planning, digital/social media efforts to drive priorities forward.
-Plan, coordinate, execute, analyze and continuously improve marketing campaigns.
-Work closely with the external design teams to manage the creative development of campaigns.
-Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional teams inside and outside of the company.
-Forge relationships with the category specific media, and other influencers.

Demand generation, demand growth, and SEO.
Media planning and buying experience with small to medium size budgets.
E-mail marketing experience.
Digital media and media relations experience.
Consumer marketing experience in the entertainment/events industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proof-read a high volume of materials.
Demonstrated initiative-taking and flexibility working in a fast-paced environment.
Required Computer Skills
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution and at least five+ years relevant experience professional experience.
Experience with early-stage technology ventures or retail preferred.
You will help to promote the platform for a Retail Blockchain that aims to dethrone the largest incumbents in the Retail space.
This means joining a 12 person startup which is simultaneously decentralizing all of the consumer retail experiences and building a global consortium of brands.
The SHOP CO-OP, the first brand and shopper consortium, is a ethereum based blockchain protocol that supports the free exchange of data across the retail supply chain, spanning suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, shoppers and logistics providers; the network of parties that make, move, and sell products shoppers enjoy. With the SHOP CO-OP, external entities currently entrenched between supply chain participants will no longer be able to exploit their leverage over the ecosystem.
