Lived in Hong Kong and China for 10 years, built two companies including a startup which scaled an advanced microwave catalytic pyrolysis technology for industrial waste management applications from lab idea to commercial scale system as the Director and tech co-inventor. Innov8tia was one of nine startups globally accepted to the 1st Laudato Si' Challenge (2017), an accelerator created by The Vatican in Rome and Silicon Valley.
To fund Innov8tia I started a frozen food trading company with offices in China and Vietnam and ~$350k monthly revenue. Ask me how I managed logistics of refrigerated goods through a jungle, import/exports across closed borders, and a full time business with a part time bank account.
While I did both of these I earned a science degree at Nottingham in China to support the development of Innov8tia's technologies.
