Seed Sumo careers

Since 2013 Seed Sumo has been investing in seed stage startups mainly in the tech space. The majority of these investments went through our 90-day startup accelerator called Seed Sumo.

We are taking everything we have learned over the last three years of investing and accelerating companies and creating a new model. It's NOT an accelerator or an incubator. It's NOT just a venture fund. It's something different. It's Seed Sumo 2.0

Key learnings:
Vertical focus is vital (Health and Fitness)
Existing channels are a must (Nutrabolt)
2-3 weeks with founders is sufficient time to ignite and vet them
Deal flow follows success
Larger staff of growth guys is crucial
Define Clear Milestones for teams

We are now a $20mm Seed Fund and will be investing ~$4mm/year. Our investment focus is seed stage startups that make humans healthier or more fit. Each investment we make, we will encourage the startups to come to Austin for 2-3 weeks to focus on growth, brand, efficiency, and people.
