I launched Village Fishmonger, a seafood startup that has acquired 350 subscription members and started a wholesale arm in just under a year. In addition to creating and running Village Fishmonger as a for-profit business, I also created and produced the first ever Sustainable Seafood Week NYC, a dining and event series dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness of and promoting education for responsibly harvested seafood in May 2013. Successfully partnering with 30+ restaurants and 15 product/event space sponsors to produce 7 events during a one week span, proceeds from the week benefitted the New York Harbor Foundation which seeks to restore and celebrate New York Harbor through 'Harbor School's Billion Oyster Project'.Describe the most impressive thing you've done.
