    Bounce - Get Home Together
iOS app to make neighborhoods safer & more social
"Bounce has the potential to change the way many college students walk home at night" - USA Today

Bounce is a new social app for… · More neighbors. Join & grow neighborhood communities - called homepoints - and bounce home with them later in the night.

Chat with your neighbors directly, plan hang-outs, and get to know what's good in your hood.

    HOW TO USE:

    1) Create / join homepoints. Big homepoints work best, so get your roommates & neighbors to join too!

    2) Once you have a large enough homepoint, open a leaving group ~1 hour in advance, to coordinate getting home with others nearby. Also useful to just hang with your neighbors, wherever you are!

*Neighbors from your homepoint will be added to your leaving group as they enter your area.
*You can filter this by gender.

    3) Homepoints work best as groups for your street, block, apartment, dorm, etc. We suggest nearby homepoints and let you know how many friends you have in them, so that it’s easy to integrate into new groups within your neighborhood.

*Homepoints are joined on a peer-to-peer approval system, so anyone who requests to join must be approved by an existing member.

*If you find that you aren't matching with anyone when you're out, be sure to expand your own homepoints, or join larger ones.

    --------------------------

*Your location is always private - no other user can see it.

*Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life

*SAFE TO USE - suspicious users can always be removed before coordinating your trip. If you notice any suspicious activity from another user, be sure to report them, and we will take action.

*It is recommended to do a quick Facebook check to see if you have mutual friends with people requesting to join your homepoint. The hope is that we'll all have more friends in our neighborhoods as a result!

*Weak ties are safe ties. Meet your neighbors - they’ve got your back.

We love feedback. Send us some love!
