I am an IT Generalist with over 20 years experience designing and implementing solutions such as Help Desk, CRM, Firewall, MRP ...etc. I have typically served as the technical lead as well as the project manager. I have strong virtualization experience and have been busy building APPs using AWS.
After joining education technology startup Echo360 as a Deployment Engineer in February of 2008 I studied and trained aggressively to get comfortable with the existing lecture capture product called Apreso and the new product soon to be launched as the EchoSystem. Many of the early adopters were based in the UK and so I made several lengthy trips during my first summer to help them setup the new solution. One customer in particular wanted to use their existing Apreso clients with the new EchoSystem platform. Support for the legacy client was included but had not been documented yet. I worked through the weekend before my trip to verify and document the steps to register the Apreso client with the EchoSystem Server. I had many similar experiences during that summer where I was dealing with a new challenge every day. I was doing everything from updating firmware on the capture appliance to diagnosing A/V signal issues. There were many ups and downs but it all worked out in the end.
