We're a fast-growing startup that's helping software development teams work better together. In particular, we help agile teams achieve the promise of continuous improvement through better retrospectives.
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate thrives in an unstructured work environment. In fact, one of our core values is "Default To Autonomy". That means you have to be a self-motivated, problem-solver.
If you're looking to get in at the ground floor of a funded, growing, post-revenue startup, this is the job for you.
We strongly believe in running a "good" company. That means we treat each other well and we aim to be happy and fulfilled with what we do. It also means we're a small family -- if you have trouble getting along with others or have a big ego, we're not the right fit for you.
We care about the developer experience just as much as we care about the user experience. As a result, we regularly pay off our tech debt and review new technologies that makes development enjoyable and effective. We are a functional programming shop and fully embrace the Redux ecosystem and paradigm.
We run on some seriously cool tech, including:
NodeJS, BabelJS/ES6, React, Radium, Material-UI, Redux, Recompose, ImmutableJS, RxJS, ShareDB, MongoDB, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
You'll be working on building out our retrospective platform. That means front-end and back-end.
You'll be working directly with our CTO and we'll be relying on you to work with him to push new features & functionality on a regular basis.
What if you could run effective sprint retrospectives, every single time? How much would your team's productivity and overall happiness improve?
Introducing Retrium -- distributed sprint retrospectives made easy. Retrium is a set of simple interfaces to some of the most popular retrospective techniques, including 4Ls, Lean Coffee, Mad/Sad/Glad, and more. Intended to be used by distributed scrum teams, Retrium runs alongside a video or audio conference and actively encourages every member of your team to be engaged throughout the entire retrospective.
Finally a solution to improving your distributed team's performance. It's as easy as Retrium.
