Respondent is on a mission to connect market researchers with the highest quality respondents in the world. We are a marketplace for sourcing niche audiences anywhere in the world for market research interviews.

We are an entirely distributed team and our company has been profitable since week 3. We’ve had overwhelming demand from companies like IBM, Airbnb, Uber, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble and many more, and are growing rapidly at about 25% M.O.M . We are excited to offer new positions to meet demand as we march towards taking ownership of the qualitative market research industry.

About the Team

This is an exciting time to get in on the ground floor of the Respondent organization.

Respondent is a fully distributed team of highly driven individuals that are intelligent, organized, and dedicated. You will be working with the founders of Respondent to accomplish and surpass quarterly and annual objectives. We are a goal-oriented team that works hard and enjoys the incredible trajectory that Respondent provides.

We are seeking a Research & Support Specialist that possesses strong research and technical expertise and project management skills and demonstrates aptitude for strategic thinking and problem solving.

This role has two distinct verticals:

1. Managing support for the research participant side of the marketplace

Answering support tickets using ZenDesk software
Engaging with the engineering team to be of assistance in manual study filling efforts

2. The management and delivery of custom market research studies

The development of research proposals – understanding researchers objectives, scoping project, developing appropriate methodology to meet objectives, and pricing
The day-to-day management of third party researchers, external research platforms and end clients
Leading the development of research design, screener surveys, scheduling and logistics

What we need from you:

BA/BS degree in related field
2+ years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research desired, but not necessary
Knowledge and experience using a wide variety research tools such as UserZoom, Usertesting, Lookback.io, SurveyMonkey, FocusVision, DScout etc. is desired, but not necessary
Demonstrated success in managing end to end project life cycle with multi market and complex studies
Solid detail orientation and ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently, with strong work ethic and adherence to deadlines
Demonstrated effective client management (internal or external) skills
Relationship building, business development, and client management
No ego or self-entitlement. A willingness to get your hands dirty and sometimes do tasks that are beneath your skill threshold
A willingness to try new things, explore new approaches and be constantly coming to us with genius ideas about how to make our business scale
