A website containing 164k+ records and 30GB+ of images of the art works owned by the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. It was created to completely replace the near unusable (3+ secs/search) existing collection website.
UX Designer, Front-End Developer, Back-End Developer, Drupal, Varnish Cache, Apache Solr · I did 95%+ of the project and an intern assisted with some… · More of the CSS theming. I convinced the marketing department to standardize on a common theme for both museums, implemented the initial design, wrote a migration system from the museums ancient 4D database system to MySQL, imported the data into Drupal, configured the Pound/Varnish/Apache stack on the host server, and scripted the weekly system update.
And no, I don't want to work on such things alone in the future. :)
