As a Project Manager you will partner with your sales team on creating presentations, closing deals and overseeing all aspects of the furniture delivery and installation project from start to finish. You will meet with clients and regularly communicate the status of their project to ensure an amazing customer experience. We are looking for an experienced project manager who thrives in fast paced, multi-faceted environments. Your success will be largely driven by your ability to organize and successfully implement +30 concurrent projects while proving detailed communications both internally and externally.
Responsibilities: Partner with your sales team to understand the client’s needs and assist in closing the sale Work with space planners and designers to provide clients with several furniture plans and design options Once a project is won, serve as the single point of contact for the client, building managers, etc. Oversee all aspects of the project implementation and facilitate client communications Analyze and handle all power/data requirements Ensure orders are entered accurately, products are delivered on time and installation is flawless Accommodate client’s last minute requests and timing changes Supervise delivery and Installation, create punch-list, and follow through to final sign-off Collaborate with our operations team on any inventory, order management, warehousing, staging and delivery needs Ensure deliveries are completed, closed out and customers receive all related invoices Train, develop and manage your project coordinator/customer concierge to support you and related projects HELP SALES TEAM WIN MORE DEALS Support sales team to help them win more deals by listening to client, proactively identifying potential complications/issues, and creating presentation materials (including RFPs) that make Poppin the clear winner in every deal Remove salespeople from the post-sale process as much as possible so they can focus on winning more business while the project manager focus on client success Proactively (and overly) communicate with salespeople so they can determine when it’s necessary for them to get involved and communicate with the client
Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a project management role in the commercial furniture business Demonstrated a track record of success managing projects in a fast-paced environment Exceptionally strong organizational skills and oral/written communication abilities Ability to travel is required Knowledge of building codes Experience working with Electricians and CAD Designers
