UI/UX Designer · Dapper is shopping for the everyday man. The app's main focus is to make the grueling (mostly hated) process of shopping for… · More clothes refined and simplified. By highly curating from a large selection of popular brands, our goal is to take the guessing out of the decision process. The app's UI is crazy simple. The main interaction allows the user to be focused on a single product as opposed to overwhelmed by large selection. In return, the app inadvertently feels game like, encouraging the user to "see what's next". Checkout is also simple. With Apple Pay and credit card integrations, we are able to enable one tap buy for multiple vendors.
My role (which started in May of 2014) was to take the existing UI and refine/improve the app's overall experience, usability and look. After a re-brand and major app store update, Dapper was featured in "Best New Apps", "Lifestyle" and "Buy with Apple Pay". After launch, we saw a dramatic increase in downloads, user retainment and completed purchases.
UI/UX Designer · Moxy is about re-defining the way women shop for accessories. Much like Dapper, Moxy is highly curated, presenting only the best… · More accessories and deals to the user.
What I Do
What started as a love for visual design, evolved into a blend of solving complex UX problems and delivering clean, effective, front-end experiences. With a heavy focus on Atomic Design and Design Systems, my experience with multi-platform organizations has taught me the value in thinking large.
