This required building a full prototype system from fabricating the...more sensor in the Stanford cleanroom to final system integration to image the blood vasculature of a mouse ear. Research was part of a multidisciplinary award with professors in ultrasound, optics, and medicine.
In my PhD work I built the first CMUT based photo-acoustic microscope from cleanroom fabrication of the transducer to building the experimental setup including optics and imaging the blood vessels in a mouse ear. Included signal processing for image formation and programming lab equipment.
At Butterfly Network I went from hand building single prototypes in the lab to overseeing the initial hand off to contract manufacturing which lead to FDA approval.
