Full-Stack Engineering, with deeper expertise on the front-end. I have a strong, customer-centric product/business sense, a keen eye for design and a great deal of experience leading projects. My go-to stack is AngularJS with Ruby/Rails, but I've worked with a number of others.
If you are looking for someone who can competently jump through the entire stack, confidently lead a project, and make intelligent product/design/business decisions we should talk.
A project I'm very proud of:
I architected and lead all development on MightySignal's SaaS web application. Building out the front-end with AngularJS, building a Ruby/Rails API for the back-end with MySQL and ElasticSearch. This included everything from the initial customer development to determine the initial UI / feature set, all the way to architecting the ElasticSearch instance.
I have three deep passions: software, leading/teaching others and entrepreneurship. At a fundamental level, what drives me is an innate fascination to understand how systems work, then using that knowledge to engineer elegant solutions to challenging problems. I love learning and I love building.
I have the most fun at the cross-sections of tech, product and business.
