Greg has proven to be an invaluable investor and advisor to ClaimCompass. He’s always ready to dive in, help solve problems or provide strategic advice, but more importantly, he’s the kind of person you can always count on. Having a vast network of contacts, his intros are taken seriously and can be instrumental to any growth initiatives or future fundraising. In just a few short weeks after writing a cheque, he introduced us to half a dozen other angels to help close the round and made a warm connection to one of the world’s biggest TMC companies we’re looking to partner with.
Greg impressed us with his critical thinking and the conviction he quickly developed for our business and vision. Thanks for coming on board, Greg!
Greg decides with conviction and is a smart, direct investor. We've co-invested with him on a few deals, and each time, he has made his decision quickly, and he always asked challenging and great questions. I've enjoyed working with him and appreciate his candor and thoughtfulness that he brings.
General Partner & co-founder at Hustle Fund. Prev partner at 500Startups. CEO/co-founder of LaunchBit (Acq Sept '14). BSEE Stanford. MBA MIT Sloan.
Greg is an amazing collaborator and I've been looking forward to writing his recommendation for quite some time.
Greg has been among our earliest believers/supporters for Hustle Fund I and subsequent projects. Additionally, Greg has been an active co-investor, having invested/mentored several of our portfolio companies.
I count Greg as one of my most strategic partners. He has broad expertise and battle-hardened skills from his years in private equity. As a result, Greg often asks the hardest questions with our team--testing our ideas and ultimately improving upon them. I learn so much from him.
What I also appreciate about Greg is that he is completely free of bullshit. I find his direct style utterly refreshing; he never shies away from difficult (but necessary) feedback. In the past few years of working together, I find myself asking for his advice more and more to challenge my own assumptions and biases. At this point we are texting/calling each other nearly every week to share ideas.
When you've earned Greg's respect, he is the kind of person to go above and beyond to help you in times of need. Greg has put in so much time to help me and Hustle Fund over the years, and I'm so grateful.
If you ever have a chance to work with Greg, consider yourself lucky. Just being in his orbit will sharpen your skills and make you a better strategic thinker.
Co-Founder & General Partner at Hustle Fund. Actively investing in pre-seed founders. (Portfolio not shown here)
Greg is an awesome no-BS investor. He asks you thoughtful questions and once he believes in you, he is quick to decide with conviction. He isn't afraid to decide before others even if he has to stand alone supporting you all the way. After investing, he opens up his vast network and is available to the founder in whatever capacity they want - strategic, problem solving, growth and can be hands-on or hands-off as you like. He will jump on partnership and BD calls with you if required. What I like is that he invests for the long term and is patient and understands the ups and downs of running a startup. Highly recommend to take his money if wants to invest.

Greg is the consummate supporter and connector. He is always your biggest fan, feels like he’s on the team, and he’s tenacious in his drive to add value. For us, he’s been important as he has proactively introduced us to incredibly relevant people in and around his network (and by the way, has a high value network). He’s a critical investor if you’re looking for network support, strategic partnerships to generate sales, or just general founder support.
