I work at the intersection of clinical medicine, process improvement and technology development. I am at heart a doctor and builder of products and teams: essentially I really like making stuff with people.
My work is informed by 10 years of clinical experience providing patient care and running a primary care practice serving 7000 patients in London, England. I have also spent 2 years at MIT as Clinical Director of Sana Mobile (www.sana.mit.edu) where I used mobile technology to build clinical decision support systems for frontline healthcare workers in developing countries and also as a lecturer in Health Sciences and Technology where I taught classes in Technology and Quality Improvement, Population Health Informatics and Clinical skills for Bioengineers. I was the inaugural recipient of Harvard's Public Health Innovator of the Year Award and way back when I was a full time doctor I gained membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (=Primary Care Physicians) with Merit.
