Cryptocurrencies are building the internet of money. We are making the funding of early blockchain projects open and simple. We bring experience from venture capital (Andreessen Horowitz), software engineering (Google, Comma.ai), and crypto (21.co) to reimagine early stage blockchain fundraising.
Our team is based in San Francisco and comes from Andreessen Horowitz, Google, Comma.ai, Earn.com, Stanford, Caltech, CMU, and Berkeley.
Our investors include Pantera Capital, Refactor Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, Abstract Ventures, Cantos Ventures, and partners from Founders Fund and Google Ventures
Our current application stack includes React, Django/Python, Postgres, and Solidity.
-Create a secure, fault tolerant backend that reliably tracks and sends cryptocurrency transactions
-Write smart contracts that handle traditional financial processing in a robust transaction-oriented environment like Ethereum
-Use industry-standard tools like Postgres, Django, Celery, EC2, and S3
-Automate everything. Make our manual processes easier or remove them entirely with data scrapers, anomaly detection, fast alerts, speculative job execution
-Test and pipeline deployments for five nines uptime and 99.5% < 200ms SLA
-Coordinate external penetration tests and bug bounty programs
-Interest in cryptocurrencies and distributed systems
-Experience with systems engineering (multiple distinct interacting components)
Nice to have
-Experience building crash-only distributed systems
-Experience with Solidity and smart contract development
-Financial engineering experience
