Ometria is a predictive analytics and marketing platform developed specifically for retailers.
Since its launch in 2013, Ometria’s mission has been to make retail marketers more data-driven.
Today it lets hundreds of retailers leverage data to acquire better customers and keep them purchasing more through creating, executing and constantly optimising a customer lifecycle marketing programme.
Ometria was founded by four serial entrepreneurs, with combined experience in ecommerce, computer science, mathematics and SaaS, has been invested in by London’s most prominent entrepreneurs and investors, and is used by top retailers in the UK, Europe and across the world.
Ometria is built on a highly scalable ecommerce database and query platform allowing for data to be analysed and reported in real-time, and for new users to be added without affecting the performance of previous ones. The database is generalised and able to connect with any ecommerce platform - current integrations include Shopify, Magento and Hybris, as well as any custom-built site. On top of this, we have our own proprietary front-end interaction tracking technology that interfaces with the back-end data to connect website interaction data with customer transactions and details. This is combined with marketing automation technology which can target individual customers with automated real-time messages, based on the data in the system.

Who we are
Ivan and Djalal founded Innova Kapital five years ago and have been investing in technology companies since. Ivan has a background in mathematics, and Djalal has a background in design. Alastair and James have been working together for seven years, building companies in online travel and advertising technology. Alastair has a PhD in computer science and James is a serial entrepreneur with a successful exit. They formed Ometria in early 2013 to create the best ecommerce technology company.
Why we're doing this
Ometria is at the intersection of three huge sectors - SaaS, Data, and Ecommerce. Each of these is a trillion dollar industry, and we have identified a niche which is not well-served at the moment. It is also a perfect fit for the joint skill set of the four founders, and our main base in London makes Ometria perfectly positioned to become the leading global marketing platform for online retailers.
