GlassPrompter is the Teleprompter for Google Glass. It displays the text of what I'm supposed to say onscreen so I can read it onstage. But it doesn’t… · More just advance the text at a set speed, it listens as I talk and moves the text to match my pace. It does this by listening to what I'm saying and running speech recognition in the background, matching up what I say to the script I have entered. Since it follows along as I speak, it can also advance slides when I get to the right spots automatically.

What I Do
I am a software developer who focuses on rapid-prototyping. My work often involves web scraping, data mining, or wearable computing. I have over a decade of experience on the Microsoft stack, plus NodeJS, Ruby, and PHP.
My creations have won plenty of awards (from companies such as Twilio, Microsoft, Yahoo, Vodafone, Stanford, Georgia Tech, TechStars). I love competing in and winning hackathons, have worked at companies as notable as Microsoft and Yahoo, took my own startup through Techstars Boulder, and regularly build new projects for fun and profit.
Looking for short-term 100% remote dev work, preferably in C# or NodeJS. Social data mining, wearable tech, and VoIP are my specialties, but I'm open to anything interesting. Check my resume at http://rogerpincombe.com/resume and email me if it's a fit.
