After eschewing the bright lights of the City of London, I decided to experience and change the world in a more profound way than I could as working as a corporate lawyer. I manage an incredible team of people at http://edulift.co from my home in Fukuoka, Japan. At night I work as a stand-up comic.
I've grown a bootstrapped startup whilst in full time education to a distributed team of over a dozen talented people. I have been solely responsible for curriculum and content creation, customer service, compliance and user onboarding.
Since the age of 14 I have worked as an actor and broadcaster professionally. I passed Grade 8 Singing, and Grade 8 Musical Theatre exams at the age of 18, and have taught both. As a debater and public speaker I have represented my school and university both nationally and internationally.
My hobby is working in the Japanese media. I broadcast weekly on live Japanese radio, and present a number of television programmes in Japanese. I occasionally work professionally as a stand up comedian, and have headlined shows in around a dozen countries. I've been featured in every major Japanese newspaper.
My focus is learning from those who share my vision to democratise education using technology. I've enjoyed one of the most privileged educations that this planet offers, yet understand that most of the world doesn't. I know that technology can change this. If you think so too, let's talk.
