We are looking for someone who is trained as a Software Engineer but has her heart in educating more and more people in a holistic framework. She will be primarily engaged and co-responsible in three activities:
1 - managing our eLearning product - SARAL (node.js / react.js)
2 - helping build the platform through our students who are already trained or being trained in these technologies (should have a working knowledge of the two languages, or excited to learn them)
3 - help in building curriculum to develop existing or new courses in Software Engineering and Data Analytics
She will be working with the team, students and the volunteers to achieve the above three objectives. We already have folks working on these problems and are looking for someone who understands Programming and Technology but more importantly is deeply passionate about bringing a positive impact in our Society through the use of same.
We have no office, work remotely, about 120-150 hours a month. Our centers are being set up in Dharamsala and Bangalore, so you always have a full-expense paid campus to crash in the vicinity of nature and abundance of love from the students. We work with a flat hierarchy (right now!), with ownership expected from each and every team member. Each member is groomed through specific sessions to ensure that the member is fully able to understand and realize her potential. You will get ample time to explore your own self, and work-life won't be a myth while you can work on something you feel truly passionate about.
- Worked as a Software Engineer on various technologies
- Teaching experiences to students of any age, preferably adults
- A strong belief in human mindset and developing entrepreneurial mindsets
- A growth mindset to deal with failure & continue experimenting and learning
- Trust in the experimental learning and facilitation process to allow learners to be the masters of their own learning
We are working on a lot of other elements such as alternative living, holistic frameworks of learning, integrating learning core skills with soft skills, activity-based curriculum to understand and learn soft skills like empathy, etc. The member can actively participate in problems of her interest.
