I've programmed several academic panels, filmed seventeen short documentaries featuring renowned artists, and doubled the amount of Facebook and YouTube followers/subscribers while at the Forum for Scholars and Publics. A couple of my YouTube videos gained 2000-3000 views. I've project managed at two university organizations, and am excited to apply these same skills in a business operation position within the film industry, with proficiency in project and financial management, great soft skills (I'm told I make people at ease immediately), and navigating small, intimate work environments.
Learning more about the filmmaking & photography scene in Seattle, and do so by providing those in the scene the tools necessary to complete their projects. As an empathetic person who loves to hear people out & problem solve, I think those skills would apply significantly to customer service.
