With more than 8 years experience in various HR functions, including internal and with HR B2B vendors, I have a solid foundation and passion for all things People.Describe what you have done, what you are doing, and the kinds of things you are interested in.
I've worked in various startups, and as an independent contractor, overseeing generalist and specialized HR duties, such as talent acquisition, learning, and organizational development. I’ve also taught psychology as an adjunct instructor part-time in both a private vocational college and a state university- work that I valued deeply.
In my current role as HR Consultant at Namely, I support a large portfolio of client companies, from providing guidance on HR best practices, legal compliance, and employment relations, to many other customized talent management deliverables. I consult to executives in companies ranging from 15 employees to over 750, and across all 50 states. This has required me to develop a deep understanding of the employment law landscape, and the ability to maintain compliance in situations where state and federal laws intersect.
Finally, I have a MS in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from San Jose State University and the SHRM-CP HR certification.Describe the most impressive thing you've done.
I always take calls with like-minded professionals - if you see any alignment in a project or new venture with my interests and skills, feel free to reach out.
