Role description
We’re looking for passionate, product-focused software engineers comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment. As a full stack software engineer, you’ll be working on both our front-end (React) and backend (Node, Sails) and have direct input on product development. You’ll be working directly with the founding team in our San Francisco office to take ideas and features from start to finish.

Qualifications
-bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
-extensive experience with Javascript (React, Node, Sails), commonly used modules, and frontend best practices
-ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components and a strong sense for good UI/UX
-computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
-excellent communication skills and quick learner
-experienced with software engineering best practices (design patterns, code reviews, unit and integration testing)
-experience with RESTful API integrations

Responsibilities
-write efficient, modular code and deploy often
-be able to spec a feature/product and work independently to complete tasks
-work on one or more elements of our stack, from front-end (React) to backend (Node, Sails)
-participate in every phase of the development cycle - brainstorming, prototyping, developing, launching, iterating

Meetingbird is a web app and Chrome extension that automates meeting scheduling for individuals and teams. We solve one of the most common and frustrating aspects of work. Our Chrome extension allows users to view their calendar and schedule meetings right from Gmail, and our scheduling tools allow users to instantly and intelligently share their availability with anyone. Thousands of salespeople, customer success agents, executive assistants, and product managers rely on Meetingbird everyday to schedule their meetings.
