We are building what will be the first *killer apps* for the rapidly emerging mass medium of virtual reality. Along the way, we are also building out a set of tools for developers, including a native monetization platform, which we originally developed for mobile gaming and then recently adapted to virtual reality (producing jaw-dropping impact, as hinted by the still images above). The off-the-charts reactions to that product adaptation led to our passionate pivot into virtual reality, the next mass media platform.
The MediaSpike publisher API's provide software publishers an easy way to dynamically inject advertisements into their products. There are currently… · More five APIs, allowing publishers to integrate the MediaSpike ad service in their iOS, Android, Flash, HTML5, and Unity3D apps. Each API connects the implementing app to the MediaSpike web platform, enabling the app to effortlessly receive images, sounds, and binary data as part of an advertising campaign configured on the web platform. The APIs automatically control the downloading, disk caching, and serving of ad assets. They also handle the reporting of impression statistics about each ad asset including the number of views, the length of each view, and the total number of click interactions. These APIs allow a software publisher to easily run an advertising campaign, and gauge its effectiveness, by making a few simple library calls.
