I wrote student-college matching software in high school to try and optimize my college application process, which turned into MyFit two years later (Series A from NEA, acquired by Naviance in August 2010). After this, to graduate, I spent two years flying back and forth between Duke and California each week. I worked on brain-machine interfacing using implanted electrodes in monkeys at Duke for four years studying how neurons encode information, and have presented at the Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting. I've been programming since age six, and generally get what I want out of machines.
