Candidate must have experience developing web applications using PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and MySQL. Expertise in MVC frameworks is a bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and develop new softwareAssist in complete database design (Queries, Indexing and Structure)

Ongoing re-development of our current softwareMinimal system administration (Repairing corrupted tables, restarting services, etc.)

Maintain and enhance our websites

Build and construct an API framework and liaise with front end developers

REQUIRED SKILLS –

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience

3+ years in the IT industry and a good understanding of the full life cycle of development

2+ years of hands-on experience in programming database driven web sites in technologies

Experience with MVC frameworks such as Laraval

Knowledge of Server management and Adtech

Experience with Javascript, JSON and Ajax

Experience with Javascript framework such as JQuery or Node.js, Angular.js

Experience with source control and version control tools

Thorough understanding of Social Networking and Web 2.0 technologies

Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously andmeet tight deadlines

Proven ability to learn new technologies and deliver measureable results in an aggressive environment.
