Sr. Software Engineer

brain.space is a neurotech company on a mission to provide researchers, physicians and developers with the tools they need to understand the human brain.

We are doing it by building infrastructure (hardware) and algorithms to analyze electrical brain activity. We are working towards generating a quantifiable description of a person’s cognitive and mental state.

We are looking for a talented and ambitious software developer with strong mathematical skills and proven experience in creating and maintaining complex systems.

• We are pushing the state of the art and innovating in every aspect of our product. From the design of the sensors through our electronics system to the algorithms we use to analyze our data in the cloud.

Who are you:

• You have proven experience designing, building and maintaining complex software systems.

• You are comfortable with writing and implementing algorithms yourself (not just using a library).

• You can work as part of a team while completely owning everything you work on. Improvements to your part of the company should come from you as much as they come from requests made by others.

• You feel comfortable engaging in and contributing to discussions outside your areas of expertise.

• Bonus, experience with 1 or more of the following: scientific computing, embedded software development, rust, canvas development, unity.
