About the role
As the first PM hire, you’ll work closely with the CEO, Head of Engineering, Head of Customer Success and community cancer centers to define and build digital health solutions that enable our clients to improve patient outcomes and survival rates for cancer patients.
Specifically, you will:
- Own and execute against key aspects of Expain’s product roadmap to deliver value to clinical and operational teams at our customers and drive better patient outcomes
- Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle from gathering requirements through production release
- Synthesize feedback from internal stakeholders, advisors, and customers into meaningful product improvements
- Scope MVPs and work with engineers and designers to estimate feature delivery timelines, define milestones, and build consensus on prioritization decisions
- Define product features across all platforms (web, mobile, interactive voice response) and communicate requirements to UX and engineering teams via clearly written product specs, user stories, and flow charts
- Lead cross-functional Agile teams to deliver features and coordinate with stakeholders across Expain’s Clinical Services, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and cancer centers to ensure successful implementation
- Prioritize initiatives and work across teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Analyze metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, inform prioritization, and measure feature impact
You should have
- Bachelor’s degree in technology and/or business domain
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software product management with a proven track record of successful launches, ideally in enterprise digital health products
- Eagerness to join a rapidly growing early-stage startup and build it from the ground up
- Subject matter expertise in healthcare and/or background in the healthcare technology industry
- Proven experience working with with Agile frameworks and remote engineering teams (based in Israel)
- Passion for communicating with leadership as well as partners and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Technical fluency: experience evaluating technical trade-offs in partnership with engineering
- Ideally based in NYC (But open to folks in SF Bay Area)
- Bonus: 2-3 years of experience managing junior PMs
