Frontend Developer

We're looking for a core hire to drive our MVP into a version that we can sell. We have hundreds of potential buyers who are in our beta testing pipeline and we know what they want.

Individuals with an interest in personal security or real estate or with prior experience in developing iOS applications will be prioritized.

Qualifications:

• Skills: Proficient in ReactNative, Redux, and Firebase; eye for design and UI
• Prior startup experience (or education) and long-term interest
• Prefer experience with both iOS and Android app development
• Familiar with Photoshop or Figma (or related)

Overview:

• Work with a small development team of 3-5 to create a mobile app.
• Troubleshoot, edit, update, upgrade code as needed.
• Unpaid, part-time (subject to change)

Responsibilities:

• This is a part time role (15-25 hours per week).
• Architect, design, develop and deploy new user-facing features.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable code and perform peer code-reviews.
• Work with others to examine design approaches and evaluate technical feasibility.
• Work in an agile / scrum environment to deliver high quality software on schedule.
• Optimize for efficiency and scalability, factoring in latency and bandwidth constraints.
• Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.

Compensation:

• We're looking to hire on an equity basis (.5-2% based on commitment over time with a minimum to be negotiated).
