We're looking for a UI/UX Designer to help us design beautiful and user-friendly apps.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn and develop their skillset in a fast-paced environment. This includes everything from gathering user requirements to creating intuitive designs.

Building a product is a collaborative effort, and as such, we're looking for a strong team player. You’ll need to be a self-starter and proactive. You’re excited by the prospect of working towards our team’s and your own targets autonomously.

Your Responsibilities

1. Gather user requirements in collaboration with project managers and software engineers
2. Conduct user research to understand user's needs and behaviour
3. Design easy-to-use user interfaces
4. Develop UI mockups and prototypes
5. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and wireframes
6. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
7. Conduct usability testing and adjust designs based on user feedback
8. Adhere to best practices and design systems

Requirements

1. Malaysian Citizen
2. 2 years of work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
3. Portfolio of UI/UX design projects
4. Expertise in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent
5. Strong grasp of UI/UX concepts such as visual design, colour theory, information architecture, usability, etc
6. Ability to execute end-to-end design throughout the product design and development process
7. Include "UIUX-US-2024" somewhere in your application so that we know you've actually read this
8. Excellent communication skills with key project stakeholders
9. Good time-management, creative and critical thinking skills
10. Strong eye for aesthetics and obsessive attention to detail

4. [1 week] Take-home UI/UX design assignment
5. [60 mins] Technical Interview with our Founder & UI/UX Designer
