AI Engineer, Natural Language Processing

Responsibilities

• Development of novel algorithms and working prototypes/demos based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning techniques to address tasks related (but not limited) to information extraction, text summarization, natural language generation, automated question answering, and reasoning using unstructured clinical documents, biomedical literature, and social media data
• Design and developer conversational AI applications that are deployable across various projects.
• Research and publish innovative approaches to conversational AI

Minimum Qualifications

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: NLP, ASR, TTS, Conversational AI, Dialogue, Machine Learning or artificial intelligence
• Experience developing machine learning algorithms or machine learning infrastructure in C/C++ or Python

Preferred Qualifications

• MSc or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering focused on Natural Language Processing, Computational Linguistics, Speech Science, or related technical field.
• Proven track record of achieving results as by first authored publications at conferences such as ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, SIGDIAL, AAAI, ICML, NeurIPS, or similar
