Aquam careers
Aquam provides the worlds only wastewater treatment technology that can eliminate solids, produce direct electricity (no methane), and enable onsite water reuse in a small footprint, with significant cost-savings to end-users.
The patented BioElectrochemical Sanitation Technology (BEST) uses natural bacteria in wastewater to eat waste and produce electricity. Because of the special relationship between electricity production and bacterial carbon metabolism, waste is eliminated faster, when more electricity is produced. Aquam is launching the BEST-community product in 2017, which can provide wastewater treatment and water reuse to small communities (up to 1000 individuals) in a 20 foot x 8 foot x 8 foot standard shipping container. The BEST-community system can integrate into existing infrastructure or be built without connection to sewer or energy grid.
