Kunal Verma is a world renowned expert in Semantic Technologies, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. He recieved a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Georgia and has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers. Kunal also hold 6 US patents and has several others pending.
He is a founder at a startup in stealth mode, where he created the Intelligent Assistant Engine, a platform that combines leading edge natural language understanding with context management. Key features of the platform include semantic understanding of user's text, maintaining context across a conversation and ease of adding new domains.
While at Accenture, he led several multi-million dollar R&D initiatives at Accenture that led to tools such as Requirements Analysis Tool, Process Model Gap Analysis Tool and Data Mapping Accelerator. Collectively these tools have been used at hundreds of Accenture's Fortune 500 customers and credited with over $100 Million in cost savings due to automation.
Kunal won a best paper award at International Semantic Web Conference 2008 in the 'Semantic Web In Use' track.
