Job Description

**MUST have experience using Facebook Power Editor and AdWords. <ust have experience running conversion optimized campaigns. Note, this is not a community management job.

Knarr Media is growth focused paid media agency in NYC specializing in paid social. We are a small shop that has worked with big brands. Most notably we have worked with startups like Plated, Brooklinen, Stash, Bond, Baublebar as well as several Fortune 500 companies.

Knarr Media was founded by Matthew Kerestesy, former director of paid media at, who is a 12 year veteran of the startup world.

Knarr Media is looking to hire a paid media director to run our client accounts and manager junior employees. Applicants should have 4-5 years experience managing Facebook advertising campaigns using Power Editor or a 3rd party tool, like Nanigans or Kenshoo. Some experience with Twitter, Pinterest, and/or Instagram ads is a plus. Ideally, candidates should have experience using Taboola and/or Outbrain for acquisition. Should have experience managing growth/acquisition focused campaigns and also mobile app install campaigns across the aforementioned channels.

Must have a strong knowledege of Facebook custom audiences, pixels, reporting, ad placements, and Power Editor.

Must be located in NYC or within a commutable distance. You will not be required to be in the office daily but you will need to make it in 3-4 times per week. Must be flexible and able to work remotely.


+In-depth knowledge of paid marketing channels, including social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more) and content distribution and placement networks like Outbrain and Taboola.
+Experience managing AdWords campaigns
+Strong analytical mind and skilled at digging into data to assess results and find key takeaways to leverage for ongoing optimization.
+Direct response copywriting for digital media
+Excellent communicator with ability to explain results professionally. You will manage or assist on all relationships with clients.
+Proven success handling six-figure marketing budgets and reporting results.
+Excellent organizational and project management skills, strong attention to detail and can skillfully manage several complex projects with multiple moving parts.
+Startup experience is a plus
