Julia Lamorelle

I am passionate about innovative solutions in education, and believes that it is the foundation to a successful future. Through experiences working with youth, I understand how to meaningfully engage and connect with students. I co-founded Kiwi to provide every child with an opportunity to explore technology, find their passions and build confidence to learn.​ While Kiwi is open to students from any background, experience level and demographic, I'm passionate about women in tech and building self-confidence in young girls. I love working with younger girls in the Kiwi classroom because “women teaching women in tech is the most powerful weapon in the fight for gender equality.”

When not in the classroom, I run Kiwi as CEO, overseeing all aspects of the business and ensuring that Kiwi stays true to its core values. I am a firm believer in innovative education opportunities for all kids and that coding is an amazing tool for youth.
