WHY WORK AT HOMEROOM?

The subjects children need to learn are not the ones you'll find in classrooms today. Parents are spending more and more money each year to supplement their child's learning experiences. Unfortunately, finding classes is difficult and often requires busy parents to drive kids to offsite locations. This model is broken. Join us if you want to bring unique classes to school campuses after the school bell rings.

WHAT IS HOMEROOM?

Homeroom is OpenTable for the after school market. After school enrichment coordinators use our free SaaS application to manage their current enrichment programs and discover new classes they can bring to campus.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AT HOMEROOM?

To jumpstart our marketplace, we distribute free software to Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs). Why? Today PTAs are organizing $100K micro-marketplaces - they find local instructors to lead on-campuses classes that parents purchase directly.

Your role at Homeroom will be solely focused on PTA acquisition. Specifically, you will be responsible for closing PTAs by creating a go-to-market strategy that relies on you building and executing a playbook that enables us to onboard PTAs as quickly as possible.

- You are a go-getter that likes to own projects and tackle unforeseen challenges of an early-stage start-up
- You prove your points with hard data and always like to optimize your processes
- You are a strong communicator that does not mind cold emailing individuals or jumping on phone calls with PTAs to learn more about their needs
- You are an analytical and structured thinker with excellent business judgment
- You are organized. You identify needs, develop an action plan and then implement it
- You can drive to insight and translate learnings into actionable recommendations
- You are passionate about creating a marketplace that completely reshapes the learning experiences of children
