In 2013, we set out to rethink consumer products through the lens of machine learning. Today, we have 100m+ consumers using our products that all sit on top of our machine learning platform. We continue to apply machine learning to rethink consumer product development while solving mission-critical problems for companies, non-profits and governments.
Our backend is written in Node.Js, and we use MySQL, Redis, and Cassandra. Our iOS and Android apps are built natively.

We think it should be just as easy to trade in private companies as it is in public companies. Many believe that startup employee equity is only worth something if the company IPOs or is acquired. However, with a robust, centralized, efficient market to trade in private companies, that equity becomes liquid and is valuable from the day it vests. We are building that market for stockholders and institutional investors, and we could use your help doing it.
CardFlight is a mobile payments startup that's growing 15+% monthly and processing millions of $ in payments daily. We closed a growth funding round late last year and are growing fast from here. Think of us as "Square for the enterprise" or "Stripe for the 90% of credit card payments that happen in real life”. Thousands of merchants use our technology to accept payments on iOS and Android mobile devices. We give mobile app developers the tools, infrastructure and support to easily incorporate credit card payment acceptance into their own apps. Developers retain full control of their integrated app experience, and use our encrypted credit card reading hardware and SDK/API to safely and securely accept credit cards in their apps, with support for their existing merchant account(s).
• We are one of the first and only mobile payment solutions in the United States approved for accepting EMV "chip card" payments, and are bringing NFC/Apple Pay solutions to market soon.
• We use a partner-centric strategy to serve thousands of merchants. 15 of the top 60 merchant acquirers in the United States are partners or customers.
• Our technology is used by merchants in all 50 states.
We were founded in 2013 with our headquarters in New York City. We also have a regional engineering office in Lincoln, NE.
1. We provide a secure magnetic stripe reader that works with virtually any iOS or Android device. The reader is loaded with our proprietary encryption key which means our clients (developers) can't access credit card data, which reduces their burdens for Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance.
2. We provide a flexible SDK so that you can embed payment acceptance into your own native apps and retain full control of the interface and user experience. We also offer turn-key apps for those not looking to build their own.
3. CardFlight works with most leading payment processors, including Stripe, Braintree, First Data, TSYS, Vantiv, Chase Paymentech, and Global Payments ‐ with more in the pipeline. This allows clients to use any processor for their merchant account, but use our software and APIs for a better experience. Our payment gateway is PCI Level 1 certified.

Stanza is building the Waze for calendar - a community driven approach to managing your time.
Today over 10K organizations use our platform including the NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAA, GOP, Nike and more. Our products are embedded on thousands of websites driving over 200M monthly pageviews. Over 6M users have synced 280M events to their personal calendars and rely on Stanza to always be up-to-date.
Couple neat things we built out internally:
- Architecture is highly modular built up with many Node servers - we made it very easy to keep components separate while sharing code between servers, and sharing code between client & server. All the servers talk to each other through redis - load balanced via nginx.
- Built and open-sourced a package: Universal Parcel Service for Asset Building UPS (https://github.com/joinspoton/ups) which ensures that we can deploy without ever having any down-time - takes advantage of staggered deployment & pre-compilation.

Phone2Action builds leading software tools that connect passionate advocates with their elected officials at every level. We power organizations with the most effective tools to reach and engage supporters to advance public policy campaigns. Our clients, and the tools we build, have a hand in passing legislation across the United States, effecting millions of people. We won the SXSW 2013 Accelerator, the 2015 Reed Award for mobile technology, and we’ve been featured in The New York Times, the Washington Post, Politico, and others. Our clients include top-tier nonprofits, trade associations, and companies; and we work with an all-star Board of Advisors.
Phone2Action's civic engagement platform is used by organizations to create and run grassroots advocacy campaigns for their supporters. Our tools determine who an advocate's elected officials are and facilitate communication between the two parties.
The tools work at the local, state, and Federal level, and connect supporters and officials over email, phone calls, Twitter, and Facebook.
Meanwhile, all of the data is stored on the back-end, so our clients can get real-time updates and reporting on what campaigns have been successful.
Phone2Action integrates with popular email marketing and CRM programs.
