We build machine learning platforms that generate and label data at a massive scale to change the way people think about unstructured visual data. We've leveraged our deep learning platform, Hive, to collaborate with partners to solve mission-critical and impactful problems in a variety of domains.
Our backend is written in Node.Js, and we use MySQL, Redis, and Cassandra. Our iOS and Android apps are built natively.
Accompany is looking for thinkers, doers, and problem solvers to join our team! We're building the world's most comprehensive dataset of people and companies, and summarizing it for our users to make it relevant, useful, and insightful.
Our platform processes billions of pages and millions of news articles on the web, using proprietary AI technology to automatically extract information about people and companies. The system continuously improves and has discernment and patterning capabilities to construct profiles of people and companies at scale with minimal need for human intervention.
To serve our users, the system is constantly keeping an eye out for information on people and companies that are important to them. We'll even watch for anomalies in the news, intelligently separating the big events from the small ones to keep our users informed without the noise.
The team behind the magic is an inquisitive group of high-achieving engineers, product gurus, customer champions, and world-class designers—all working together to build a better way to connect people. Our office is a whirlwind of brainstorms, collaboration, and working on what some might think impossible!
If you are interested in large scale data processing, making sense of real-world information using AI/NLP, mining data for interesting insights, or presenting information to users in a delightful way: join us!
In the next 5-10 years, every data driven business will have strategic AI sitting at the core of it. An intelligent brain taking in billions of behavioral inputs, making predictions about the future of every customer, and ultimately prescribing unique solutions for each individual to maximize their value and loyalty with the brand. Vidora is already sitting at the core of numerous Fortune 500 companies and plans to help every business take advantage of the AI revolution.
Our mission is to build the most advanced AI systems to help Fortune 1000 companies maximize the value of every customer. Currently, Vidora helps commerce, subscription, and media companies reduce user churn using AI and Machine Learning. Vidora works with some of the largest global organizations like Yahoo! Japan, Walmart, and News Corp, collecting billions of behavioral events across global users. Some of the Machine Learning techniques Vidora uses include probabilistic models deployed using Spark, Scala, and Python. All of Vidora's AI and Machine Learning infrastructure was built in house and is actively being deployed at scale.
Interruption, irrelevance and waste - that's what came to our minds when we thought of 'online advertising.' Sharethrough is changing the way that great websites make money, making advertising a whole lot better in the process. Goodbye banners and punch-the-monkey ads.
We pride ourselves on rapidly and responsibly shipping new technology into production. Optimizing latency for real-time decisioning with Scala, 3rd-party CoffeeScript deployed on some of the most trafficked sites on the Internet and streaming 100GB/day with Spark are just a few of the things you’ll work on here at Sharethrough. We think it should be just as easy to trade in private companies as it is in public companies. Many believe that startup employee equity is only worth something if the company IPOs or is acquired. However, with a robust, centralized, efficient market to trade in private companies, that equity becomes liquid and is valuable from the day it vests. We are building that market for stockholders and institutional investors, and we could use your help doing it.
Our transactions backend is high-frequency capable, although initial trading volume will not require it. More importantly, our wallet architecture has multiple levels of safeguards to protect against tampering and theft, and our operating procedures (including backups both digital and physical) ensure the integrity of customer funds. Our bank integration, which uses an instant debit mechanism, prevents chargebacks and keeps fraud to a minimum. We have a modern UX that delivers a crisp customer experience.

Angaza builds software and hardware technology for selling transformative products, especially solar-energy systems, affordably to the next billion off-grid consumers.
After substantial in-country piloting to demonstrate the robustness of our technology, we have commercially launched in high volume in Kenya through SunnyMoney, the largest pico-solar distributor in Africa. Through an Angaza-dedicated dealer network, customers purchase our SoLite3 units (3 watt solar panel with LED light and mobile charging) for ~$5 upfront, and make weekly energy pre-payments to activate their units for energy output. We are expanding throughout East Africa with additional distribution partners, and licensing our technology to solar manufacturers.
We are a B2B company, and sell through distribution partners in E. Africa. Our revenue is earned through transaction fees on all payments that are channeled through the proprietary payment platform that forms the core of our technology ecosystem. We are actively pursuing licensing agreements in which we embed our Pay-As-You-Go hardware (<$2 addition to unit COGS) in other solar manufacturers' products. Our vision for scale is to be the enabler of pre-paid energy solutions for the enormous off-grid African market, channeling ever larger numbers of payments through our backend system.
Angaza’s technology bridges cellular infrastructure, mobile payment systems, and metered solar energy generation—with a focus on East Africa, the most exciting environment for mobile and energy technology in the world. Our PAYG platform processes energy micropayments from customers by integrating with "mobile money" networks (e.g., Safaricom M-PESA in Kenya). It transfers payment data to remote products using custom modulation to embed data in a speech-coded cellular channel. Furthermore, the platform provides distributors with a suite of modern browser-based software tools to manage their PAYG business operations.
Angaza R&D thus spans an immense range: from analog+digital circuit design, to space-constrained embedded software, to high-availability backend development. Interested in an engineering role at Angaza? If you love challenges that call for every tool in a broad skill set, we would love to hear from you.
CardFlight builds and operates mobile point of sale technology that helps tens of thousands of merchants accept credit card payments on iOS and Android devices. We were one of the first providers in the US approved for EMV chip card acceptance on mobile devices and recently launched NFC (Apple Pay, Android Pay, Samsung Pay, etc) payment solutions. We work with 15 of the top 50 merchant processors in the U.S. and white-label our software (or provide it in API/SDK form) to reach tens of thousands of merchants in all 50 states. Every day, we safely and securely help our merchants process millions of dollars of transactions.
We were founded in 2013 and have grown to over 25 team members since. Most of our employees are based out of our NYC headquarters in the Flatiron/Chelsea neighborhood, but we also have a regional engineering office in Lincoln, NE. Our company culture is professional and disciplined about the things that matter, but casual and relaxed about the things that don't. We're hard working, but measure people by the quality of their work, not the amount of hours they put into it. We offer all full time employees great benefits including a fully paid health plan, a liberal vacation policy and stock options to share in the upside of what we create together.
1. We provide a secure magnetic stripe reader that works with virtually any iOS or Android device. The reader is loaded with our proprietary encryption key which means our clients (developers) can't access credit card data, which reduces their burdens for Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance.
2. We provide a flexible SDK so that you can embed payment acceptance into your own native apps and retain full control of the interface and user experience. We also offer turn-key apps for those not looking to build their own.
3. CardFlight works with most leading payment processors, including Stripe, Braintree, First Data, TSYS, Vantiv, Chase Paymentech, and Global Payments ‐ with more in the pipeline. This allows clients to use any processor for their merchant account, but use our software and APIs for a better experience. Our payment gateway is PCI Level 1 certified.
