Unlike airlines, bus companies are new to web technology. Their data systems are primitive and vary greatly. There are no unified data standards and no accessible APIs. Direct business and technical partnerships are required to perform custom integration with their technologies in order to deliver a fully functional search and booking process. Without this middle layer technology and direct partnerships, consumer sites like Kayak cannot exist in this space.
Wanderu built the ITA and Kayak for ground travel. We collect, process and route partners’ data to deliver a consumer search that Millennials love and receive a percentage of each transaction. Our technology and low customer acquisition costs create a defensible, scalable business which we will use as the foundation for creating the travel brand for the next generation.

Our secret sauce is our proprietary processing engine which atomizes documents into standard normalized elements and then extracts enormous quantities of metadata that is used to determine relevance. Community corrections is also an ecosystem, with multiple actors, (1) probation/parole, (2) treatment providers, and (3) offenders. To start with, we plan to target the top 20 content creator companies, and on-board 5-8 of these top companies as our beta customers. They have expressed high confidence to sign-up for our Beta program
zipBoard is a Saas product, with a fully-reactive front-end, and an asynchronous back-end. Multiple users can collaborate on zipBoard, and see live updates from each other in real time.

Our backend is in Go running on Google App Engine and utilizing REST APIs. We're building our front end in React. We also have a CRM backend on Salesforce, with an iOS app built on top of this to help our ops team price, inspect, deal with contracts, and logistics. Our mobile presence is mainly iOS at the moment, which we’re using Swift for, and we do plan to venture into Android as we continue to build the team. We're running a Postgres database on RDS.
