KIWI consists of four system components. The transponder - called KIWI Ki - replaces the physical key. The door sensor sits in the locking system of the house. When an authorized KIWI Ki approaches, the sensor would unlock the door by activating the door strike. A gateway ensures constant connection to the KIWI Infrastructure. The infrastructure itself is the joint administration platform behind all accesses.
A patent has been filed for the encrypted authentication process between Ki and sensor. The sensor is compatible with almost every electrified bell panel and easy to install. Thus, the lock doesn't need to be touched.
KIWI is no big data company. We cannot see, who is opening which door. The system has been explicitly developed with the intention to protect the users' privacy.

At FIXD, we want to take the stress and worry out of car problems, by helping drivers better understand and maintain their cars. FIXD detects check engine lights and breaks them down into terms that are simple and understandable, it reminds the driver when their cars need regular maintenance, and it connects the driver with the parts or services needed to repair their vehicle. The FIXD Sensor plugs into the diagnostic port of a driver’s car and communicates via Bluetooth to the FIXD app.
FIXD has three components: the sensor, the app, and the dashboard. The FIXD sensor relays car problems from the vehicle’s diagnostic port to the FIXD app via Bluetooth. The driver is given the severity of the issue, the consequences of continued driving, and a simple definition of what is wrong. The app then offers the driver the opportunity to schedule a service at the dealership service center. All of this information is also relayed to the dashboard where service advisors can see the health and status of each customer. This allows them to proactively reach out to customers in their time of need.
