Aside from managing 20 tables and 100+ guest interactions, I develop strong relationships with 300+ customers, 15+ neighboring businesses and companies through social media...more marketing (Facebook, Yelp and Instagram), emails and in-person interactions. Because of this, it helped profits increase by 300% and restaurant traffic up 200% within the first three months. I also act as a manager when marketing and advertising for the new business, training 12 new servers and dealing with new inventory.

I was constantly interacting with a diverse group of people, from CEOS and businessmen to 400+ clubs and organizations, to set up 2000+ events/meetings per year at UC San...more Diego’s facilities. My role was to make sure each event/meeting ran smoothly and was on-call if any problems were to arise. I was efficient, reliable, and acted as a resource for both staff and clients. I advised on important tasks such as planning logistics, operating the set up, and managing the event for safety measures.
I worked in Operations for 3 years and am currently a head server in the Service Industry for the past 9 months. I'm also an advocate for education in under-resourced communities. On the side, I occupy my time with yoga, books, food, TV shows and travel.
I'm interested in organizations that make the world a better place, whether using technology, consumer products, or professional services. I enjoy both working on small, high-intensity groups and independently.
