I have more than doubled the number of insurance policies at my insurance agency. In order to achieve this, I provided internal education to co-workers who could help support my vision and spread the word to potential clients. I took data that formerly had been held in spreadsheets and moved them to a CRM system so as to more efficiently track clients, opportunities, products, and sales goals. I used the CRM to create reports and mail merges. Additionally, I developed policies and procedures to support the goals and daily routine of the Agency. In this time, I also led numerous sales campaigns, updated marketing materials and our website, managed an interdepartmental project, and organized a community cyber seminar.
I am a fan of the Harry Potter series. JK Rowling did a phenomenal job in bringing characters to life with her words. The incredible imagination demonstrated in her writing makes for an enjoyable read.
If money were not an issue, what would you be doing right now?
I'd love to spend more of my time in Colima, Mexico volunteering for Project Amigo, a wonderful organization that helps children in poor, rural areas stay in school. I have volunteered at the organization and supported a student through college.
