We are looking for an experienced Sales executive to lead Insolar launch with Fortune 500 enterprise clients in the US and Canada. The Vice President of Sales will be the primary responsible for establishing North American business and securing first pilots and commercial deployments of Insolar blockchain solutions in the region.
You will work directly with Insolar founders, marketing, and product teams and will take a lead role in all major client-related and business development activities in the region: sales and client management, developing sales organization, optimizing the sales process, channel partnerships, etc.

- Develop sales pipeline of 3 pilot projects with Fortune 500 clients in North America in Q1-Q2 2019
- Move 2 pilots into commercial deployment in Q3-Q4 2019
- Generate additional 5 pilot projects with Fortune 500 clients in Q3-Q4 2019
- Hit $2 million in revenue for 2019
- Identify and engage with the right channel partners to complement direct sales
- Establish sales organization in the US
- Leading Insolar business development efforts by establishing new relationships and maintaining excellent relationships with current customers
- Developing and executing market entry and sales strategy for North America
- Optimizing the sales process and producing best-in-class sales materials
- Driving aggressive enterprise adoption and revenue growth
- Navigating organizations to persuade decision makers to use Insolar’s products
- Managing the deal cycle from initial prospecting through contract negotiation and final closing
- Responsible for hiring the best sales people and building the sales organization in North America
- 5+ years of experience in leadership sales roles at an enterprise software company focused on disruptive products (preferably open-source)
- Proven ability to sell new software products with high average check to leading enterprise customers
- You should be comfortable interacting with relevant decision makers at Fortune 500 organizations
- You have led a sales or business development team and have experience hiring in these areas
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with customers and close deals
- Unparalleled communication skills
