As a People and Talent Manager, you will use your skills to:

Attract top talent in the fields of machine learning researchers and software engineers.
Develop and execute on the recruitment strategy of Hackmind
Manage candidate communications and the new starter on-boarding program
Work closely with partners and leadership team to source and recruit top talent for our fast-growing team
Align with leadership to identify resourcing gaps and vacant roles, including preparing hiring plans and building a strong candidate pipeline in a unique, fast growing team
Utilize a number of innovative recruitment methods and channels to build a strong pipeline of candidates with specialized expertise
Drive the implementation of a new evaluation process (application receipt, screening, interviewing, decision making) to select the best possible talent
Serve as a brand advocate by supporting marketing with brand projects and connecting with markets
Plan and execute all recruiting events, including promotional events, information sessions, interviews and conversion activities
Perform initial candidate screening and face-to-face interviews, as well as facilitate assessment centers
Manage relationships with external agencies and recruiting vendors
Partner with key universities and design schools to promote Hackmind and source candidates
Prepare the details of vacant positions, reviewing and updating job descriptions and advertisements
Implement and maintain a new applicant tracking system
Manage correspondence between applicants and Hackmind, responding to all inquiries in a timely manner that is consistent with our brand and culture
Design and execute a unique, innovative and exciting on-boarding experience for new employees, providing them a thorough introduction to Hackmind, as well as its culture and brand
Coordinate with recruiting colleagues in other global and local Hackmind teams

As a People and Talent Manager, you will need:

An undergraduate qualification in psychology, business, human resources or a related field (preferred)
A deep understanding of the skills and capabilities required in client facing roles, including engineers/developers, strategic designers, visual designers, UX/UI designers, experience designers, business development and product managers, as well as sourcing and recruiting principles for these professionals
Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
Advanced project management skills, including proven success managing recruitment processes and events
The ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to balance decisiveness with empathy
Exceptional attention to detail, service orientation and responsiveness to candidate needs
Initiative and the ability to recognize opportunities for improvement, as well as implement new processes and procedures
A background within a recruitment position (either internal or agency) for a technology, innovation or digital company
Prior work supporting high recruitment in a fast growing, start-up environment
Some experience in understanding recruitment challenges and opportunities in Asia (preferred)
Experience managing the on-boarding experience for new hires (preferred)
Proven abilities in using creative sourcing channels to build a pipeline of both active and passive candidates
The ability or desire to be involved in other areas of human resources, including onboarding new starters, employment law, training and development, performance management and coaching
