Foodzai is a peer-to-peer food marketplace.
Isn’t it amazing that we still look for new food only in restaurants?
The best pasta I’ve tried is cooked by my cousin. It’s not on a restaurant menu. This is why we started our company...
Because we believe that in 2 years, restaurants will have a new competitor: a crowdsourced kitchen. And Foodzai is bringing that future one step closer.
A marketplace where you can buy amazing food from home chefs and artisans.
We met 2 years ago at a startup event and we officially started Foodzai in 2013. Andre is on the business side of things and hustling, Miguel is behind social media and marketing plans.
We are executing with a great team. We worked for international brands (like Apple and Accenture) and well-known startups (like Gidsy) but what makes us really special is how we execute a world-class user experience.
We are crazy foodies and we know this can be the next big revolution in the food market, one of the largest in the world.
We made tons of tests with a MVP, a first and a second version, in a short period of time. We learned a lot and we now believe the right way to crack this chicken and egg problem is by solving the supply side first with a community for home chefs. A strong retention first and then the demand. We are doing with cooks what Soundcloud made with amateur DJs.
