Job Description

We are hiring an Esports Partnership Manager to help us build the number one gaming platform for esports fans and professional competitors. You will be helping us establish and maintain meaningful partnerships with game publishers, team owners, game community leaders, brands and sponsors.
This project is a team effort and we can only win together.

If you are passionate about gaming, esports and working with the latest technologies, you will have a blast working with FirstBlood.

Core Skills:

Strategy, Partnership Building, Business Development, and Negotiation

You will:

-Utilize existing or develop new relationships with game publishers to help achieve FirstBlood’s vision for esports and business model.
-Develop partnership programs to sign and retain key esports partners including but not limited to game studios, tournament organisers, teams and influencers.
-Build long-term relationships and programs to drive growth.
-Collaborate with internal teams including community, product and marketing to fulfill all commitments to partners
-Track industry trends and evaluate program growth initiatives accordingly.
-Represent and advocate for FirstBlood’s product and vision internally and externally as required.

Requirements:

-Bachelors degree in BA or or relevant experience.
-5+ years experience in strategic partner management or business development
-Excellent presentation and communications skills.
-Experience creating pitches and presenting to high-level executives, internally and externally.
-Savvy negotiation skills, managing this part of the process with a high level of integrity.
-Data driven, able to build business cases and demonstrate value through key metrics.
-Strong understanding of esports ecosystem, passion for the games industry.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
-Able to travel internationally.

Bonus:

-Previous experience working in the esports industry.
-Previous experience as a Partnerships Manager in the gaming industry is a massive plus.
-Prior start-up experience is a plus.
-If you play one or some of following games: Dota2, League of Legends, PUBG, Rocket League, CS:GO, Fortnite.
-Ability to speak more than 1 language.
-If you understand and/or own any digital currencies (that’d be sick!)
