CTO - Kendra Labs

This is an opportunity to join the Founding team of a start-up with a bold vision and clear strategy to become a significant player in the emerging data and AI ecosystem.

The CTO will be responsible for designing, building and leading FG’s technology portfolio, projects, and work with companies in our venture studio. The CTO will also build an in-house core team including developers, architects and data scientists that work across FG’s projects, ventures and strategic initiatives.

We are building a Data / AI Platform, which will help firms with an enterprise grade AI stack, including a internal developer platform, a data stack, and an AI Layer (including Generative AI deployment). Further we will build another venture focused on AI Governance, Safety and Observability.

The CTO will be part of the Fintricity and Kendra Labs leadership team and play a key role in the new Group structure. Specific responsibilities include:

• Work with the CEO/Co-Founder to formulate and execute a technology strategy and roadmap.

• Build a high-performing core engineering and data team, providing coaching and mentoring.

• Drive the architecture and roadmap to build our ventures, including Kendra Labs and others building in our venture studio.

• Leading and motivating teams, including Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects, Platform Engineers.

• Spearhead the building of an effective external open-source development community.

• Head up and architect the design and build of an open source data and AI stack and associated capabilities, and lead its launch to market and ongoing operations.

• Provide oversight and input to the execution of technology projects and initiatives with clients and ventures, leading high-value architecture and build work where appropriate.

• Provide thought-leadership and represent FG to the market and technology communities.

• Participate in leadership and overall firm decision-making.
