I received a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the competive USCB School of Engineering program. During this time I started interning for Procore and taught myself the Ruby on Rails framework. I became a lead developer for Procore once I was full time and managed many of my own projects to completion, such as the backend for the drawing markup tool in 2013 and 2014 and the Custom Reports project in 2014 and 2015. I also assisted in 2 Rails framework upgrades, 2 to 3 and 3 to 4. At Liquid Planner I gained valuable devops engineering experience with the tools ansible and terraform. I liked ansible so much I ended up working on an open source ansible project to manage my shell environment: evangoad.codes/devenv. I owned the project of implmenting and deploying a Cloudfront CDN for their single application. At ShareGrid, I helped them migrate from a single productiion server, to many redundant web servers in a Load Balancer, with a the database served by Amazon Aurora.
Looking for an established team of developers, larger than 10, that I can learn from and share my knowledge and experience. An agile team that can admit their mistakes and maintain strong level of open communication is a must.
