Companion app for the Atlas Wristband Fitness Super-tracker
Lead UX/UI Designer, Adobe Creative Suite, CSS, Sketch 3 · I was the hands on designer from beginning to end: initial UX flows sketching and… · More wireframes, prototypes, testing and final design including all asset creation and CSS support.
The mobile app was created to help primarily strength-training fitness enthusiasts to track their workouts and strategize and create their workout programs for use with the Atlas Wristband. Atlas Wristband is the only wearable that automatically recognizes the exercise you’re doing then logs your rep count and analyzes your form.
I have deep experience with traditional design, brand development and integrated campaigns however my focus has shifted quite a bit towards mobile and UI/UX design. I am interested in building intuitive brand experiences which can be transformative, empowering, immersive or delightful.
My initial focus at Atlas Wearables was to lead design and user experience for the company's flagship product, Atlas Wristband. When I joined, the industrial design was largely in place but the device firmware and mobile app needed the "full discovery to final design" treatment. I collaborated with an amazingly talented team to bring it all to fruition. I was "hands-on" every step of the way: from sketches, to use-case flows, information architecture, wire-framing and proto-typing, to user testing, and final design and asset delivery. Since Atlas I have joined Mutual Mobile and hit the ground running creating two mobile apps from the ground floor for National Geographic and Tiff's Treats and am hard at work on a third for Dribe, a vehicle subscription service based in Denmark.
