We are looking for a software development QA tester to join the team, with a passion and thoroughness for the work.
Note: This is a 1-year contract position, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
" Implementing and executing test plans.
" Tracking quality assurance metrics and ensuring the products run as they should
" Fully appreciating and understanding the context of use (persons who live with complex chronic conditions or clinicians during a packed clinic day) and anticipate issues in flows.
" Being familiar with the product design and its objectives.
" Generating reports and logging bugs in detail
" Reporting any problems or issues with the performance of the product to the Product Manager.
" Following the QMS system in place for medical devices.
The ideal candidate for this position would:
" Have knowledge in software/technology related field (preferred). Associates degree required.
" Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in a technology related environment
" Have experience with bluetooth and smartphone devices
" Be goal-oriented and focused
" Have strong attention to detail and documentation practice
" Possess good judgment and decision-making skills.
" Think outside the box and come up with use cases that may not be as obvious
" Have ability to communicate to individuals with technical and non-technical knowledge
- Experience working in healthcare system is an asset, but not required
